# ForusApp vs MAAT

The clearest difference is rating: ForusApp at 4.8 against MAAT's 4.5. ForusApp also leads on ratings volume (159 vs 14). MAAT's advantage is review sentiment (72% vs 53%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ForusApp holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ForusApp has 159 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of ForusApp's written reviews are positive against 72% of MAAT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ForusApp ships an update every 2 months, MAAT every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
