# O&R vs Note Beast

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: O&R at none against Note Beast's 4. O&R also leads on ratings volume (9.7K vs 21). Note Beast's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note Beast sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. O&R asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for O&R against 4.7 for Note Beast. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: O&R has 9.7K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two.
