# O&R vs Wave Spa

The clearest difference is rating: O&R at 4.8 against Wave Spa's 1.9. O&R also leads on ratings volume (9.7K vs 9) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). Wave Spa's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

O&R holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: O&R has 9.7K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. O&R ships an update every 6 weeks, Wave Spa every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
