# LaundryPay vs Nerd on Call

The clearest difference is rating: Nerd on Call at 5.0 against LaundryPay's 2.4. Nerd on Call also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). LaundryPay's advantage is ratings volume (106 vs 1) and review sentiment (21% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Nerd on Call holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LaundryPay has 106 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of LaundryPay's written reviews are positive against 0% of Nerd on Call's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LaundryPay ships an update every 2 months, Nerd on Call every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
