# LIVE Face vs Rokoko Remote

The clearest difference is rating: LIVE Face at 3.5 against Rokoko Remote's 2.8. Rokoko Remote's advantage is update cadence (every 5 months vs every 13 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LIVE Face holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 24 and 11 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of LIVE Face's written reviews are positive against 20% of Rokoko Remote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LIVE Face ships an update every 13 months, Rokoko Remote every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
