# LIVE Face vs MICHICON

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: LIVE Face at none against MICHICON's 1. LIVE Face also leads on rating (3.5 vs 3.2). MICHICON's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 13 months) and review sentiment (42% vs 15%). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MICHICON sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. LIVE Face asks for nothing beyond the download.

LIVE Face holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 24 and 41 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of LIVE Face's written reviews are positive against 42% of MICHICON's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LIVE Face ships an update every 13 months, MICHICON every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
