# Piary vs My Diary

The clearest difference is review sentiment: My Diary at 100% against Piary's 75%. Piary's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Piary sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and My Diary sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Piary holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 9 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Piary's written reviews are positive against 100% of My Diary's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Piary ships an update every 3 weeks, My Diary every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
