# Piary vs Highlights

The clearest difference is ads: Highlights at none against Piary's shown. Piary's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Piary sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Highlights sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Piary ships an update every 3 weeks, Highlights every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
