# Lightsaber Simulator vs SHAKE

The clearest difference is ads: SHAKE at none against Lightsaber Simulator's shown. SHAKE also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Lightsaber Simulator's advantage is ratings volume (2.4K vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lightsaber Simulator sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and SHAKE sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SHAKE holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lightsaber Simulator has 2.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Lightsaber Simulator ships an update every 4 weeks, SHAKE every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
