# 1Timer vs ToastBuster Timer

The clearest difference is ads: ToastBuster Timer at none against 1Timer's shown. ToastBuster Timer also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). 1Timer's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 10) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 1Timer sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and ToastBuster Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ToastBuster Timer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 1Timer has 1.2K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.

1Timer ships an update every 6 weeks, ToastBuster Timer every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
