# Smart Tools vs All tools

Smart Tools and All tools both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of All tools's written reviews are positive against 78% of Smart Tools's. Smart Tools's advantage is ratings volume (322 vs 7) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart Tools sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and All tools sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Smart Tools against 4.4 for All tools. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart Tools has 322 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 78% of Smart Tools's written reviews are positive against 100% of All tools's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
