# Eventful vs Ozee

Eventful and Ozee both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 52% of Eventful's written reviews are positive against 13% of Ozee's. Ozee's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Eventful holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ozee has 637 ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 52% of Eventful's written reviews are positive against 13% of Ozee's.

Eventful ships an update every 6 weeks, Ozee every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
