# edusoft.net vs Language Reactor

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: edusoft.net at none against Language Reactor's 13. Language Reactor's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (3.9K vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Language Reactor sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. edusoft.net asks for nothing beyond the download.

edusoft.net holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Language Reactor has 3.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of edusoft.net's written reviews are positive against 66% of Language Reactor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

edusoft.net ships an update every 8 months, Language Reactor every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
