# Maiku vs PDF Editor

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PDF Editor at none against Maiku's 1. Maiku's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Maiku sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. PDF Editor asks for nothing beyond the download.

Maiku ships an update weekly, PDF Editor every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
