# IntroTube vs TinyMix

The clearest difference is monetization model: TinyMix at free with in-app purchases against IntroTube's subscription. TinyMix also leads on ads (none vs shown). IntroTube's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (9.8K vs 27). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IntroTube sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and TinyMix sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IntroTube holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IntroTube has 9.8K ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of IntroTube's written reviews are positive against 83% of TinyMix's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IntroTube ships an update every 9 days, TinyMix every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
