# Experiment vs Enlighten

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Enlighten at none against Experiment's 1. Experiment's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Experiment sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Enlighten asks for nothing beyond the download.

Experiment ships an update every 2 months, Enlighten every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
