# xBeaconPlus vs TR

The clearest difference is update cadence: TR at every 5 days against xBeaconPlus's fortnightly. TR also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

xBeaconPlus ships an update fortnightly, TR every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
