# minicam vs Eachine Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Eachine Pro at 3.8 against minicam's 2.2. minicam's advantage is ratings volume (126 vs 10). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Eachine Pro holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: minicam has 126 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of minicam's written reviews are positive against 11% of Eachine Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

minicam ships an update every 2 months, Eachine Pro monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
