# AutoRenovA vs RC5

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RC5 at 42% against AutoRenovA's 0%. RC5 also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). AutoRenovA's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and iOS requirement (12.2 vs 15.1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AutoRenovA sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. RC5 asks for nothing beyond the download.

AutoRenovA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RC5 has 27 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of AutoRenovA's written reviews are positive against 42% of RC5's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AutoRenovA ships an update every 3 months, RC5 every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
