# Flighty vs FlightVault

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Flighty at 158K against FlightVault's 9. Flighty also leads on review sentiment (68% vs 50%) and chart position (#2 vs unranked). FlightVault's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flighty sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and FlightVault sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Flighty against 4.8 for FlightVault. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flighty has 158K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 68% of Flighty's written reviews are positive against 50% of FlightVault's.

Flighty ships an update fortnightly, FlightVault weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
