# Flighty vs Flight Notifications

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Flight Notifications at 100% against Flighty's 68%. Flight Notifications also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). Flighty's advantage is ratings volume (152K vs 2) and chart position (#2 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flighty sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Flight Notifications sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flight Notifications holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flighty has 152K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 68% of Flighty's written reviews are positive against 100% of Flight Notifications's.

Flighty ships an update fortnightly, Flight Notifications every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
