# SpyChat vs BitRocket

The clearest difference is update cadence: BitRocket at every 4 days against SpyChat's fortnightly. BitRocket also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SpyChat ships an update fortnightly, BitRocket every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
