# NIIMBOT vs printer

The clearest difference is rating: NIIMBOT at 4.7 against printer's 3.0. NIIMBOT also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (32K vs 2). printer's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NIIMBOT sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and printer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.00 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NIIMBOT holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NIIMBOT has 32K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NIIMBOT ships an update every 2 weeks, printer every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
