# VPN Vault vs Secured VPN Pro

The clearest difference is rating: VPN Vault at 4.6 against Secured VPN Pro's 3.5. VPN Vault also leads on ratings volume (29K vs 264). Secured VPN Pro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Vault sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Secured VPN Pro sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN Vault holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Vault has 29K ratings behind it against 264, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 86% and 86% positive.

VPN Vault ships an update every 3 weeks, Secured VPN Pro weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
