# VPN Vault vs Hyper VPN

The clearest difference is ads: Hyper VPN at none against VPN Vault's shown. Hyper VPN also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). VPN Vault's advantage is ratings volume (29K vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Vault sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Hyper VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hyper VPN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Vault has 29K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VPN Vault ships an update every 3 weeks, Hyper VPN weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
