# FlickType vs Watch browser .

The clearest difference is update cadence: FlickType at every 8 days against Watch browser .'s every 2 months. FlickType also leads on review sentiment (39% vs 19%) and ratings volume (12K vs 600). Watch browser .'s advantage is rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlickType sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Watch browser . sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Watch browser . holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FlickType has 12K ratings behind it against 600, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of FlickType's written reviews are positive against 19% of Watch browser .'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FlickType ships an update every 8 days, Watch browser . every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
