# VIMORY vs CapCut

VIMORY and CapCut both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 88% of VIMORY's written reviews are positive against 49% of CapCut's. CapCut's advantage is ratings volume (1.1M vs 642) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VIMORY sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and CapCut sells 28 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for VIMORY against 4.6 for CapCut. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CapCut has 1.1M ratings behind it against 642, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 88% of VIMORY's written reviews are positive against 49% of CapCut's.

VIMORY ships an update every 3 weeks, CapCut weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
