# Super Ear vs Versacam

The clearest difference is rating: Super Ear at 4.5 against Versacam's 1.8. Super Ear also leads on ratings volume (760 vs 46). Versacam's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Super Ear sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Versacam asks for nothing beyond the download.

Super Ear holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Super Ear has 760 ratings behind it against 46, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of Super Ear's written reviews are positive against 13% of Versacam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Super Ear ships an update every 3 months, Versacam fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
