# Super Ear vs NiteVision

The clearest difference is review sentiment: NiteVision at 50% against Super Ear's 7%. NiteVision also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 7) and ads (none vs shown). Super Ear's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (765 vs 1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Super Ear sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. NiteVision asks for nothing beyond the download.

Super Ear holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Super Ear has 765 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of Super Ear's written reviews are positive against 50% of NiteVision's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Super Ear ships an update every 3 months, NiteVision monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
