# E6 CONNECT vs OpenGolfSim

The clearest difference is rating: OpenGolfSim at 5.0 against E6 CONNECT's 2.6. E6 CONNECT's advantage is ratings volume (330 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. E6 CONNECT sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and OpenGolfSim sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OpenGolfSim holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: E6 CONNECT has 330 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

E6 CONNECT ships an update every 2 months, OpenGolfSim monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
