# Bling Camera vs Glitterr

Bling Camera and Glitterr both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of Bling Camera's written reviews are positive against 52% of Glitterr's. Bling Camera also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Glitterr's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bling Camera sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Glitterr sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Bling Camera against 4.6 for Glitterr. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Glitterr has 2.2K ratings behind it against 155, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 90% of Bling Camera's written reviews are positive against 52% of Glitterr's.

Bling Camera ships an update every 3 months, Glitterr weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
