# SpeedyPaper vs Nerdify

The clearest difference is ads: Nerdify at none against SpeedyPaper's shown. Nerdify also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (2.6K vs 170). SpeedyPaper's advantage is review sentiment (90% vs 79%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Nerdify holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nerdify has 2.6K ratings behind it against 170, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of SpeedyPaper's written reviews are positive against 79% of Nerdify's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SpeedyPaper ships an update every 4 weeks, Nerdify every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
