# KADES vs offthread

The clearest difference is update cadence: offthread at every 3 weeks against KADES's every 4 months. KADES's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

KADES ships an update every 4 months, offthread every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
