# Beanstack Tracker vs New Beginnings James Island

The clearest difference is monetization model: New Beginnings James Island at free against Beanstack Tracker's free with in-app purchases. New Beginnings James Island also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and device support (4 vs 1). Beanstack Tracker's advantage is ratings volume (102K vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
