# Harubook vs MindBridge

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Harubook at none against MindBridge's 10. Harubook also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). MindBridge's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 4) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MindBridge sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Harubook asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Harubook against 4.9 for MindBridge. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MindBridge has 1.3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 91% of Harubook's written reviews are positive against 98% of MindBridge's.

Harubook ships an update every 3 weeks, MindBridge every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
