# Go Rap vs Moodswing

The clearest difference is monetization model: Moodswing at free with in-app purchases against Go Rap's subscription. Moodswing also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (83% vs 64%). Go Rap's advantage is ratings volume (755 vs 13). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Go Rap sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Moodswing sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Moodswing holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Go Rap has 755 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 64% of Go Rap's written reviews are positive against 83% of Moodswing's.

Go Rap ships an update every 2 months, Moodswing every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
