# Go Rap vs TypeBeat

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TypeBeat at 100% against Go Rap's 64%. TypeBeat also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). Go Rap's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (755 vs 5). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Go Rap sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. TypeBeat asks for nothing beyond the download.

Go Rap holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Go Rap has 755 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Go Rap's written reviews are positive against 100% of TypeBeat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Go Rap ships an update every 2 months, TypeBeat every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
