# Undivided App vs Understood

The clearest difference is rating: Understood at 4.8 against Undivided App's 4.4. Understood also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 21). Undivided App's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (80% vs 70%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Understood holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Understood has 1.2K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Undivided App's written reviews are positive against 70% of Understood's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Undivided App ships an update monthly, Understood every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
