# Kick the Man vs Chiki's Chase

The clearest difference is rating: Chiki's Chase at 4.8 against Kick the Man's 4.6. Chiki's Chase also leads on ratings volume (595 vs 72). Kick the Man's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 14.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kick the Man sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Chiki's Chase sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chiki's Chase holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chiki's Chase has 595 ratings behind it against 72, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Kick the Man's written reviews are positive against 94% of Chiki's Chase's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
