# Festool vs STABILA Measures II

The clearest difference is review sentiment: STABILA Measures II at 100% against Festool's 35%. STABILA Measures II also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Festool's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Festool holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Festool has 1.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Festool's written reviews are positive against 100% of STABILA Measures II's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Festool ships an update every 2 weeks, STABILA Measures II every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
