# VPN99 vs VPN Fastway

The clearest difference is review sentiment: VPN99 at 73% against VPN Fastway's 25%. VPN99 also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 10 months). VPN Fastway's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN99 sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and VPN Fastway sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN Fastway holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 213 and 57 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of VPN99's written reviews are positive against 25% of VPN Fastway's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VPN99 ships an update every 2 weeks, VPN Fastway every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
