# VPN99 vs YuzApp

The clearest difference is review sentiment: VPN99 at 73% against YuzApp's 14%. VPN99 also leads on rating (4.5 vs 2.1) and ratings volume (213 vs 12). YuzApp's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN99 sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and YuzApp sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN99 holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN99 has 213 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 73% of VPN99's written reviews are positive against 14% of YuzApp's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
