# OasisPlus vs Best Compass™

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Best Compass™ at 1.2K against OasisPlus's 5. OasisPlus's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 9 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OasisPlus holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Best Compass™ has 1.2K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

OasisPlus ships an update every 4 months, Best Compass™ every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
