# WS View vs ProWeatherLive

The clearest difference is update cadence: WS View at weekly against ProWeatherLive's every 2 months. WS View also leads on rating (2.1 vs 1.8) and iOS requirement (9.1 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WS View holds the better App Store score, 2.1 against 1.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 37 and 14 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of WS View's written reviews are positive against 21% of ProWeatherLive's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WS View ships an update weekly, ProWeatherLive every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
