# IPLEX Image Share vs HVview

The clearest difference is rating: IPLEX Image Share at 5.0 against HVview's 1.9. HVview's advantage is review sentiment (27% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 11 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IPLEX Image Share holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HVview has 50 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of IPLEX Image Share's written reviews are positive against 27% of HVview's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IPLEX Image Share ships an update every 11 months, HVview every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
