# ShotTracker vs CoachThem

The clearest difference is monetization model: CoachThem at free against ShotTracker's free with in-app purchases. CoachThem also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 15 months). ShotTracker's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.6). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ShotTracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CoachThem sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.0 for ShotTracker against 4.0 for CoachThem. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 4 respectively.

ShotTracker ships an update every 15 months, CoachThem every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
