# HuntLeague vs TrailCast

The clearest difference is ads: HuntLeague at none against TrailCast's shown. HuntLeague also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (34 vs 1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HuntLeague sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per year and TrailCast sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for HuntLeague against 5.0 for TrailCast. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HuntLeague has 34 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

HuntLeague ships an update every 2 days, TrailCast fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
