# SHIFT vs Diriyah Fleet

The clearest difference is monetization model: Diriyah Fleet at free against SHIFT's free with in-app purchases. Diriyah Fleet also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.1). SHIFT's advantage is ratings volume (512 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Diriyah Fleet holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SHIFT has 512 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SHIFT ships an update every 3 weeks, Diriyah Fleet every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
