# HME Now vs atmcd

The clearest difference is rating: atmcd at 3.0 against HME Now's 2.1. atmcd also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). HME Now's advantage is update cadence (every 5 months vs every 22 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

atmcd holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 26 and 23 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of HME Now's written reviews are positive against 9% of atmcd's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HME Now ships an update every 5 months, atmcd every 22 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
