# Flying Gorilla vs Eagle Ride

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Eagle Ride at none against Flying Gorilla's 7. Eagle Ride also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Flying Gorilla's advantage is ratings volume (57K vs 33). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flying Gorilla sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Eagle Ride asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Flying Gorilla against 4.8 for Eagle Ride. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flying Gorilla has 57K ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 95% and 95% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
